For anyone needing fallen branches or trees tidied up or removed after the resent winds, we have a chipper for branch debris, either for removal or to put on your gardens. We also have a stump grinder to remove any unwanted stumps from your gardens. This stump grinder is a smaller walk behind model, which makes it ideal for in established gardens and town sections, as it will fit through most domestic garden gates.

A load of raised vege beds on their way to Taupo. 1200 x 1200 and 1200 x 1500 and all 750 high so there will be no need to bend over when tending the beds. These are made with untreated Douglas Fir boards and capping rails, with only the inside corner posts treated pine (although could also be made with Douglas Fir or Macrocarpa). These will most likely be left to weather and silver off naturally, but could be oiled or stained to keep them looking bright and new. All up to the new owners preference.

Here are a couple of flashing jobs I have recently completed. Most of our flashings are supply only with the building owner or builder installing them, but sometimes because of either time or confidence, the design, fabrication and installation is requested. These two examples are at extreme ends of the spectrum, with the first being a full replacement of the parapet flashings on an Art Deco style home and a new collection box for the spouting. The other is a small shed needing to be weather proofed for an exposed site.

Everyone is looking at those little jobs that need to be done. It might be that you have got new carpet, and once you've finished relishing that feeling of the new, soft carpet between your toes, just like the first wearing of a new pair of socks, you realise that the doors no longer want to move. They are wedged in place by that same new pile. This is an easy fix but must be done carefully. Once a door is trimmed, it cannot be untrimmed, so better to trim a little at a time so as not to encourage drafts.
Another job about is hanging new curtain track or roller blinds. These are not hard jobs, but must be checked and thought out beforehand to ensure an ideal result.

The poor old ute has had a hard life and run really well so we decided that seeing as how a couple of body repairs needed doing, that we would treat it right and do an all over tidy and repaint. The guys at GM Panelbeaters did a great job in panelbeating and painting the ute into a new life. I let the painters choose a colour which is similar to the original and it looks super. To finish it off, we got the sign writing put on that we got through Kiri Kirk @ Personalise It to match the chipper and shirts that she had already done for us. We will be a lot more visible around CHB now.

Another project collected by a happy customer.
A 500 X 1000 X 50 charcoal paving slab for a heat pump. The size of this custom slab is to suit the base of the heat pump unit and match a similar one on another part of the house. It has also been coloured to blend in more with the house colour.
Custom moulds can be made to suit a range of applications and requirements, whether it be decorative or practical.

To help with advancing years, a handrail was needed to go from the laundry door to the clothesline. The size used was what suited the client and she felt comfortable to use. All the welds were ground/sanded, so they are smooth and don't catch/cut, and zinc painted for corrosion protection.
The curved outriggers keep the rail sturdy and away from the trip hazards along the house wall.

First you see it, Then you don't.
It certainly wasn't in the blink of an eye, but didn't take too long to chew up an old tree stump in what is to become a flat grassed area in front of a newly laid paved patio.
This stump was about 60cm across plus a few large roots running just under the surface which got dealt too as well, so will take out any of your old fruit tree stumps or the like with ease. As this stump was a bit raised, we took it well below the surface so as not to be an issue when the turf is prepared.
If your unwanted tree is still complete, we can chip and ring up the above ground portion, as well as grinding the stump.
