Machine Operator and Labourers
Skevingtons is looking for Machine Operators/Labourers to join our team based in Central Otago with an immediate start. Both fixed term and permanent role opportunities are available.
The ideal candidates must have proven experience in operating machinery.
Experience in operating Excavators and/or dozers would be a bonus.
Combined with a great work ethic, we are looking for people who can work unsupervised or as part of a team. Have a strong commitment to Health and Safety and are flexible within their work hours.
Along with the above, the ideal candidate will have.
• Have the ability to use their own initiative and work with minimal supervision.
• Display flexibility with operations and maintenance
• Be willing to participate in internal and external training
• Be a good communicator and be able to keep accurate records.
Pay rates will be negotiated based on skill level, qualifications and licences. New Zealand Driver licence minimum full class 1. (The ability to drive manual vehicles is essential). Other licences an advantage.
A pre –employment medical/drug test may be required. All candidates for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
