Another busy week for our team out around the coast.

This project was a practical upgrade for the home owners who needed their existing woodshed extended and more storage created for a ride on lawn mower and other garden tools.

Thinking about your next building project? Get in touch with our team, we’d be happy to have a chat and talk through your ideas to see how we can bring them to life 🔨🏡

This outdoor entertainment area is really starting to take shape, and it’s looking like it will be a fantastic space for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.

A stand out feature of this space would definitely be the wood fire pizza oven sitting on top of a Kwila pedestal which ties in with the charred Japanese cedar being used throughout the rest of the project.

With the pergola structure completed and some of the details coming together we’re looking forward to seeing this space all coming together in time for summer 🔨☀️

A smart move by these homeowners getting ahead of the summer and Christmas rush so that their out door entertainment area is ready for hosting.

Several key parts of this project will be arriving over the next few weeks including some incredible hardwood bench tops which are currently being shaped and sealed by .

Such a great opportunity to be apart of and its not often you get to use materials grown on site 🌲

Looking forward to this project getting under way.

A complete transformation from a dated, closed-in kitchen to a modern, open-plan space that’s designed for everyday living.

By opening up the existing layout, we’ve created a more functional space with improved flow between all the living areas.

From demolition through to the finishing touches, this renovation was about creating a kitchen that supports family living whilst adding lasting value to the home.

JUST IN TIME FOR THE WET WEATHER! 🌧️

This past week we had the opportunity to build two matching pergolas over the front entrances of these rental properties, creating a practical, weatherproof accessway and a sheltered space for those long wet spells we’re all too familiar with around the mountain.

To ensure they’re just as functional in summer, we installed grey-tinted, UV-resistant polycarbonate roofing, providing protection from the harsh New Zealand sun while still allowing plenty of natural light. The build was completed with sleek continuous metal spouting, adding a clean, modern finish that complements the homes perfectly.

Another quality addition delivered, and another happy customer. If you’re looking to improve the functionality, comfort, and value of your property, get in touch with Tills Construction—we’d love to help bring your next project to life.

With the painters booked for Monday and the custom kitchen arriving later this week, it was all hands on deck over the weekend to get everything ready for the next stage.

The old kitchen has been completely stripped out, old flooring replaced, extensive work to compromised flooring members, the new layout framed and lined, services roughed in, and the space is now prepped and ready for paint. It’s always satisfying to see the transformation from a tired, closed-off kitchen to a modern, functional space that’s starting to take shape.

We’re looking forward to seeing our painter work his magic before the new custom kitchen is installed later this week. Stay tuned for the finished result!

At Tills Construction, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship and keeping projects moving efficiently from demolition through to completion
