JUST IN TIME FOR THE WET WEATHER! 🌧️

This past week we had the opportunity to build two matching pergolas over the front entrances of these rental properties, creating a practical, weatherproof accessway and a sheltered space for those long wet spells we’re all too familiar with around the mountain.

To ensure they’re just as functional in summer, we installed grey-tinted, UV-resistant polycarbonate roofing, providing protection from the harsh New Zealand sun while still allowing plenty of natural light. The build was completed with sleek continuous metal spouting, adding a clean, modern finish that complements the homes perfectly.

With the painters booked for Monday and the custom kitchen arriving later this week, it was all hands on deck over the weekend to get everything ready for the next stage.

The old kitchen has been completely stripped out, old flooring replaced, extensive work to compromised flooring members, the new layout framed and lined, services roughed in, and the space is now prepped and ready for paint. It’s always satisfying to see the transformation from a tired, closed-off kitchen to a modern, functional space that’s starting to take shape.

We’re looking forward to seeing our painter work his magic before the new custom kitchen is installed later this week. Stay tuned for the finished result!
