🌸 Meet Ryecroft Jan 🌸

Pure, elegant and timeless 🤍

Ryecroft Jan is one of those dahlias that quietly steals the show. Her crisp white blooms seem to glow in the garden, bringing a touch of softness and sophistication to every bouquet. Whether she’s standing proudly in the field or arranged with other seasonal blooms, she adds a sense of grace that never goes unnoticed.

I love how her perfectly formed petals catch the light in the early morning and seem to shine right through to sunset. She pairs beautifully with almost every colour, making her one of the most versatile flowers in the garden.

A true reminder that sometimes the simplest blooms are the most breathtaking. ✨

🌸 If I had to choose just one bloom from the 2026 season, it would be ‘Lynn T’.

This beautiful collarette dahlia stole my heart this season. Every flower tells a story, and this one reminds me of early mornings, long days in the garden, and all the excitement that comes with growing flowers.

From the first buds appearing to the final blooms of autumn, it’s been a season I’ll never forget.

It’s hard to believe the dahlia season is already over 🍂

Now it’s time to plan, dream, and prepare for what next season will bring.

🌱 Planning for Next Season… 🌱

As I start dreaming, planning, and preparing for the next dahlia season, I can’t help but look back in complete awe at what happened this season.

Who entered this season? 🙋‍♀️
Who will be entering next season? 🙋‍♀️🌸

I’m still amazed that as a first-time exhibitor, I took home the Society’s Orange Rosette for Champion Bloom. 😮🏵️

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. What started as a love for growing dahlias turned into one of the most memorable moments of my flower-growing journey.

Now the question is… which dahlia shows should I enter next season? 🌸🏆

I’d love to hear from other growers and exhibitors. What are your favourite shows to attend and exhibit in?

For now, it’s back to planning, planting, learning, and dreaming of next season’s blooms. 🌱✨

The flowers are gone, replaced by crisp air and crunchy leaves 🍂
Colder mornings, shorter days… autumn has definitely arrived.

Everything feels slower now — like the garden is taking a deep breath before the next season 🌱

Sadly, dahlia season has come to an end… but I’m already dreaming 🌸

New varieties, new colours, new magic ✨
