Super Slippery Snow flys out of a Kenworth for Redbull RailRiot

Don’t take your ❄️ Snow to town Son…..

Kane in Kenworth K200 “Poison Ivy” delivering the last load of beautiful snow for tomorrow’s Red Bull Rail Riot right in the heart of Wanaka New Zealand.

It’s actually a big exercise for the Summit Civil Limited and Cardrona Alpine Resort, NZ guys and girls to gather, load , deliver and spread 150 odd tonnes of pure white organic snow.

And this is not just any old type of snow , it needs to be “super slippery” snow (see video at bottom on this post to see how slippery it is sliding out of the truck).

It’s probably an even bigger job picking it all up and taking it away again but we won’t worry about that until Sunday.
Make sure you come along to witness all the action.

Most of Summit Civil’s winter operations are 24/7 up on Cardrona but there are some interesting large scale bulk earthworks and subdivision projects happening below the snow-line as well.
