Class 5 Truck Driver Wanted

Summit Civil is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 5 Truck Driver to join our growing team. If you know your way around a Road Ranger gearbox, take pride in your truck, and want consistent Monday to Friday hours, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Operating modern Kenworth trucks with Road Ranger gearboxes
• Safe and efficient transport of materials/equipment
• Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining truck to a high standard
• Following all NZ road transport and health & safety regulations
• Working as part of a professional, hardworking crew

What We’re Looking For:
• Full NZ Class 5 Licence
• Proven experience driving Road Ranger gearboxes (essential)
• Have full working rights to work in New Zealand
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and vehicle care

Super Slippery Snow flys out of a Kenworth for Redbull RailRiot

Don’t take your ❄️ Snow to town Son…..

Kane in Kenworth K200 “Poison Ivy” delivering the last load of beautiful snow for tomorrow’s Red Bull Rail Riot right in the heart of Wanaka New Zealand.

It’s actually a big exercise for the Summit Civil Limited and Cardrona Alpine Resort, NZ guys and girls to gather, load , deliver and spread 150 odd tonnes of pure white organic snow.

And this is not just any old type of snow , it needs to be “super slippery” snow (see video at bottom on this post to see how slippery it is sliding out of the truck).

It’s probably an even bigger job picking it all up and taking it away again but we won’t worry about that until Sunday.
Make sure you come along to witness all the action.

Most of Summit Civil’s winter operations are 24/7 up on Cardrona but there are some interesting large scale bulk earthworks and subdivision projects happening below the snow-line as well.
