Check out a few highlight shots from a stunning project our team wrapped up recently! ⚡️

​From the stone pendants and subtle LED strip lighting under the stone shelf to that incredible statement pendant floating over the stairs-every detail came together seamlessly (and that view certainly didn't hurt!).

​It was an absolute pleasure working alongside James Tait and the team at Tait Built (www.taitbuilt.co.nz) to bring this house to life.

When you leave your jacket in the van for five seconds... 🐶⚡

​Meet Enzo: Hewson Electrical’s newest (and floofiest) employee. Bex does the electrical work, Enzo handles quality control, van security, and looking ridiculously sharp in company uniform.

Current status: Making the sun work overtime. ☀️⚡️

​Fresh setup locked and loaded: 8kW panel array paired with a massive 12kW inverter, plus a 9kW battery for night shifts. Heaps of roof space left, and provisioned on the wall to drop in two more 9kW batteries down the line.

​Huge effort from Aidan, who did 99% of the heavy lifting up on the roof while Mark supervised from the ground, offering "expert moral support" and critical clipboard management.

​Power bills don't stand a chance.

​We are still actively finding recalled Serene bathroom heaters installed in New Zealand homes. These units pose a severe risk of overheating and fire.

​Affected Model:
​Serene Classic S2068 (and related models)

​What to do immediately:
​Check your heater: Look for the brand name and model label on the side or bottom of the unit.
​Stop using it: If it matches, switch it off immediately and do not turn it back on.
​Contact us: If you are unsure or need help, call us straight away.

​Do not take a chance—check your bathroom heater today.

When tackled this stunning bathroom transformation, they brought in Jacob to work his electrical magic. 💡

​He got so dialed in with the setup that we had to physically pull him away before he took the maiden voyage in that shower. Strictly for "commissioning purposes," of course.

​10/10 electrical work. 11/10 dedication to quality testing! 🧼⚡

Early morning well spent! ⚡☕

​Dan and Jacob headed over to Cromwell this morning for the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Meet & Greet at the Harvest Hotel,.
​It was a great opportunity to connect directly with the Board, catch up on key updates around industry standards, stepped licensing, and supervision guidelines, and throw a few questions their way.
​(And yes, we swear we went for the regulatory updates… the free breakfast was strictly a happy side effect! 🥓☕)

​Always good to stay sharp, keep up with where the industry is heading, and make sure Central Otago is represented!
