We're hiring! Are you our next superstar Wanaka Watersports Facility Manager? 📣👀⭐️

This is an 8hr/week contractor position looking after the much-loved Wanaka Watersports Facility on the shore of Lake Wanaka. A remote administration role with regular visits to the facility for meetings, bookings and facility maintenance and guardianship. You will work closely with key groups using the facility including the Rowing Club, Lake Swimmers Club and Tri Wanaka. You'll oversee the facility calendar managing all booking requests and facilitating events such as Challenge Wanaka. You'll coordinate public craft storage access and annual renewals.

As the glue of the facility Management Committee, you'll organise and minute bi-monthly committee meetings and take ownership of follow-up actions and activities. Reporting to the Trust Chair, you'll also have involvement with the Trustees and organise and minute the AGM.

This role suits a self-motivated person who enjoys working autonomously and using their initiative. Covering marketing, project work, problem solving and overseeing facility maintenance. Tasks can be hugely varied, from organising an event to dealing with a maintenance issue.

A rewarding role taking care of the facility and facilitating community sports, bookings and events. Wānaka Watersports Facility needs a good old Spring Clean inside and out! If you can spare a couple of hours to help we would love your support.

Please bring gardening gloves and any tools you have that would be useful for weeding and tidying around the outside. Line-trimmer/weed-eater/garden waste bags would all be helpful.
