Te Amo Pūtoro – Kerikeri’s Newest Community Play Space!

We’re proud to share the finished results of Te Amo Pūtoro, a vibrant new space for play, connection, and community in Kerikeri.

Big ups to Bruce and the team for their mahi bringing this project to life — your work speaks for itself!

Skipper Yogi, Jez and Tj wound up the fishing lines and caught themselves… a house!
Something a little different for the Clearwater Barge this week as we assisted Forde Brothers shifting a house across Whangārei Harbour. Their trucks weren’t able to drive into site, so they loaded the barge, sailed across the harbor and landed beachfront.

3 pieces of “house” delivered, now time for a spot of fishing on the way home. 😉🎣

The team have been hard at work at North Estate, wrapping up the retaining and fencing works. 👷‍♂️🔨

With spring finally here, we are looking forward to more sunshine as we move onto road prep and finishing works.

Mason Contractors are proud to have completed works at Kowhai Park on behalf of Auckland Council.

This impressive 80m bridge now links the existing Kowhai Park Walkway and Transport Hub, with 250m of newly formed concrete footpaths supporting the connection.

An awesome project to be involved in — it doesn’t get much more local for us!
A big shoutout to our hardworking team on the ground who brought this to life — a job well done! 👷‍♂️👏

NZ Ground Solutions taking care of our stabilising works at Penney Rise Subdivision earlier this year.

Here’s a look back at one of our larger lime stabilising projects from the first half of the year, captured from above. Great conditions, plenty of space, a smooth run from start to finish. And as always, a great team to work alongside.

🚧 We’re on the home straight! 🚴‍♀️

The final 500m of the Point Wells to Country Park section is now being built — bringing this 2.2km stretch of The Coastal Trail to completion.

With work happening in a narrow road corridor, there will be traffic control and occasional one-lane access over the coming weeks. We so appreciate your patience and support as we bring this final piece to life.

Thanks for backing the trail — not long to go now! 🙌

The Point Wells section of The Coastal Trail is now complete! ✅

This new stretch includes a mix of surfaces — part of it runs along the road edge with a fresh chip seal finish, while the rest is set back from the road with an aggregate surface. 🚶‍♂️🚴‍♀️

👷‍♂️ Next up: Our team has moved to the Country Park, working their way back to connect the two ends of the trail.

Thanks to Ben, Bruce, and the epic team of contractors, Te Amo Pūtoro is coming to life! Like every project, there have been some little bumps in the road, but nothing that the crew can’t handle!!!

The Beams Have Landed!
It was an exciting morning on-site with our crew as we progressed with the construction of the Kowhai Park Walkway. With the help from our friends at Skywork Helicopters, we successfully landed the 10-meter-long bridge beams. The bridge will eventually span 80 meters in total, and we’re looking forward to watching the walkway take shape over the next few months.
