Made with aroha, this small reel represents only a snippet of what our journey over the years has led us to. We are privileged to have worked alongside whānau, communities and collaborators across the motu and beyond to deliver excellence in architecture and design.

The Hide Kapiti.

Photoshoot day at one of our latest Kapiti projects, having recently recieved CCC.

Located on a remote site, the client’s vision for a retreat in the hills posed a challenging but rewarding project for the design team and we relished the opportunity.

A hideaway set within the serene rural locality of Maungakotukutuku, its clean lines, sharp edges and considered materials help to elevate the sweeping Kapiti Coast views.

Jones Deviation.

Injecting life into a tired Lockwood home, this addition soulfully expresses shape and form through timber and glazing over a grounded curved brick base - where clean defined lines sit against the backdrop of rural nature.

We are delighted to see this whare come together.

Kōpuha o te Takutai.

More from our 3 split-level bach on the Kapiti Coast, this time from the interior. Cozy interiors reflect a sandy colour hue, contrasting beautifully with the leafy tones of the surrounding trees which the bach sits amongst.

Acknowledging Vā.

Last week, one of our Directors took the stage alongside Māori and Pasifika brothers Tai Tua’i, Keni-Duke Hetet and Mike Holmes at the ADNZ 2025 Conference in Dunedin last week to present and share to both industry partners, colleagues and friends his insights and experience navigating cultural engagement in Pasifika Architecture.

An incredible lineup of motivational presenters all sharing insightful and ground breaking stories in and around the industry, and we extend a warm mihi to for the opportunity and hosting an amazing three days of knowledge sharing and connection. It was particularly rewarding to celebrate the success and mahi of others around the motu as well.

Some new friends made, and some motivation as well to take moving forward! Malo lava to all the speakers, organisers, sponsors and of course ADNZ award winners!

Kōpuha o te Takutai.

Designed as a 3 split-level bach over an intimidating Kapiti Coast site, the brief was to provide a space for visiting whānau as an extension of the existing whare, utilising a part of the site which was otherwise unusable due to its steep nature.
