Most pool owners focus on shape, size, and landscaping but, heating costs are one of the biggest long-term expenses of pool ownership.

We wanted to see the real-world impact of Mayfair Pools's built-in 20mm closed-cell Celuka board insulation, so we commissioned Sustainable Engineering LTD to run an independent thermal study.

The independent study revealed:
• 26% lower energy usage
• $644 saved every season
• 1,840 kWh annual energy reduction

What was once a simple patch of lawn is now a private resort-style retreat. This space was completely transformed with a custom pool, crisp modern paving, and sleek landscaping to make the absolute most of every square meter.

We still can’t get over this view 🏔️✨

Sometimes the best designs are the simplest, and this lap pool proves it by perfectly complementing the house. The clean, sleek profile frames the architecture beautifull but what really steals the show is the finish: Mt Maunganui 💎

Reflecting the clarity of the Mount's waters, this clean, neutral tone brightens the pool, creating a tranquil, resort-like feel that pairs perfectly with the minimalist design.

Tucked away in the bush, this project was all about working with a compact footprint to make the most of an incredible view.

Because space was limited, every single detail mattered. We carefully positioned the pool so that when you’re in the water, you look straight out over the bush to the water below.

It’s a great example of how you don't need a massive backyard to create a beautiful, functional space to unwind.

We recently wrapped up this build out at Motukaraka Point, and it features a detail we really love.

Built right into the side of the pool is a custom circular viewing window. It’s a quiet, understated detail from a distance, but it completely changes the feel of the pool when you look in from the garden.

A great example of how a simple architectural feature can make a big impact on a clean, modern design.

Yesterday, we raised a glass to an absolute local legend. Our very own Alastair celebrated his milestone 80th birthday! 🎂

Many of you will have dealt with Alastair over the years. He has been building Mayfair Pools for well over 40 years, helping build over 500 pools and bringing dream outdoor spaces to life for generations of local families.

Alastair, thank you for all the years of dedication and excellence. We are incredibly proud to have you on the team and hope you had a fantastic day! 🥂✨
