The last of the autumn display in my garden a few weeks ago. The other photos are how the Japanese do it - Tenryū-ji’s Sogenchi Garden in Kyoto and Shukkeien Garden in Hiroshima. Despite the number of tourist present when we visited in October 2018, the feeling of serenity was real.

A recently installed garden ( 8 months ) at a new build in Lowry Bay is beginning to show the potential of the design.
All the focus is within the walls and is viewed from the living spaces and bedrooms. This garden had to offer visual impact, functionality and year round interest. I'm proud of the end result and kudos to the owners for the collaboration and the hard work.

It's not always easy to find a water feature that's exactly right - size, shape, texture and position all play a part. However with some patience the perfect one can be found. My clients are very happy with the result.
