No two days are the same here. You'll be pricing everything from architecturally designed homes and smart home installs to small commercial jobs, EV chargers, heat pumps, solar and maintenance work. If you've got solid estimating experience and enjoy keeping things interesting, we'd love to hear from you.

Meet the team!

We’re pretty excited to introduce Mat, our new Operations Manager at Cableworks Electrical.

Mat has been with us for the past couple of months now so you may have already seen him around.

Mat has brought calm, capable leadership into our team straight away. In his previous role, his strengths were recognised quickly, and after just 6 months he was promoted to Operations Manager thanks to his strong leadership, organisation and ability to keep jobs running smoothly.

Mat has made the move up from Christchurch to Kāpiti Coast, and we were lucky enough to snap him up. He has already become a huge asset to Cableworks, helping keep our jobs moving, supporting the team on the ground, and making sure work is completed on time, to the highest standard.

Mat brings exactly the kind of energy we value: reliable, switched on, solutions-focused and genuinely committed to doing great work for our clients.

Every quarter we bring the whole team together for our Team Alignment Day where we share our wins, review how we're tracking, and make sure we're all heading in the same direction.

The highlight for Theo and I? Listening to our team's feedback.

Time and time again, the biggest thing that came up was the incredible teamwork across the business. Hearing our staff talk about how well they're communicating, supporting one another, and working together across every part of the business makes us incredibly proud. That's exactly the kind of culture we've been working hard to build.

Beyond proud of this man for completing his first marathon! Working 12 hour days, running in the dark, the rain, when he couldn’t think of anything worse, still showing up for his family and businesses. Not stopping. It takes a wild amount of mental strength to tick a box like this. Just witnessing it made me tired 🤣. Beau ran the last little bit with Theo and now thinks he’s also run a marathon 🤣. So special for the kids to see. Such an epic day!
