Meet Mr Pat “No Days Off” Roil (the third 😂), the mahi dawg behind Roil Civil.

Truth be told, he’s never been one for putting himself front and centre. He’d much rather stay off social media, get on with the mahi, and let the work do the talking. 20+ years experience while also leading teams and projects, it was only a matter of time he’d venture out on his own.

When he’s not on site, you’ll usually find him with his sidekick Koha 🐕, being a loving dad to 6 tamariki, spoiling his wife, mowing his lawns or supporting the local food spots with the boys 👀

And when he gets the chance, he’s most likely helping somebody somewhere - tip runs, fixing something, installing something, moving something. Always lending a hand.

At Roil Civil, we’re big believers that your reputation is built by your work, your word, and how you treat people.

Hard mahi. Good relationships. Doing what you say you’ll do.

That’s what we’re about.

Hopefully you got some rest in for the long weekend. Them first few years of owning a business can be the straight trenches 😂 coz what even is a long weekend!

But we keep it real and wouldn’t have it any other way! So, what better way to fit in some quality time 😆

These might just be the boss’s glorified emergency toothpicks (yes, they get chucked after), but they’re also a reminder that we’re not just here for the big dirt playgrounds.

We enjoy helping the uncle up the road who told aunty he’d get around to that fence six months ago… and still hasn’t.

From fencing, retaining walls, concreting, drainage and earthworks through to the smaller jobs around home, we love helping turn those “one day” projects into done deals.

We’ve been busy over the last few months in a few large infrastructure projects, yes - we cover everything from small residential jobs right through to large scale infrastructure.

Drainage. Earthworks. Concrete. Asphalt. Retaining walls. The boys are on 💪🏽

From excavators (1.7Tonne - 60Tonne) to full civil packages.

Check out the boys on some of the sites - we’ve been lucky to rub shoulders with some of New Zealand’s best operators.

With all this heavy rain lately, we’re seeing backyards flooding and turning into swimming pools.

This yard had nowhere for the water to go - every time it rained it just pooled up and sat there.

Our boys got stuck in and fixed the problem
• Ripped out old concrete & gardens
• Leveled the section so water can run off
• Installed sumps to take away groundwater
• Prepped it up ready for paving
