Pope and Gray has long been a proud supporter of the Greytown Volunteer Fire Brigade.

We often provide a digger to crush cars for training and our large yard is regularly used for trainings and simulations.

Pope and Gray currently employs two brigade members who are able to respond to emergencies during work hours. Callum Tannant (pictured) is one of our experienced operators and driver’s with decades of civil experience. Seth Rance is the Chief fire officer, and is our Operations Manager at Pope and Gray.

This job had it all…..

💦 Registered drainlayer working on plumbing and drainage systems ✅
🔨 Landscaper/Builder working on feature posts and timber edging ✅
🛻 Skilled truck driver and digger operator creating a quality job we are all proud of ✅
🌳 Skilled chainsaw operator cutting down shrubs and bushes ✅

This job also saw us sow a large lawn, create a large parking area and carry out earthworks for a beautiful pool.

We were able to be a one stop shop for a quality landscaping project to transform this beautiful property - all completed with a high degree of precision.

Our Concrete and Landscaping teams are being kept busy with several projects currently on the go. Plenty of Autumn sunshine is making for perfect working conditions.

We’re currently working on landscaping jobs from Wharekahau to Mauriceville.

One of these jobs is a large landscaping upgrade at Cobblestones Museum in Greytown. This is seeing us upgrade drainage, install new smooth walking paths, install several areas of bricks and cobbles and add around 400m of new timber edging. It’s great to be able to work at such a significant site in the community.

Other works include a large concrete kerbing job at Mauriceville, a new concrete parking and patio area in central Masterton, lawns and landscaping works in Martinborough, lawns and concrete work in Greytown with several other projects either underway or booked in.

A busy week in Featherston saw us undertake several jobs in and around town. Some of these have been good community projects to be apart of 🤝🤜.

One was the installation of this new sign, heading south into Featherston 🔨.

Another job saw us work on the Featherston School Bike track. We added about 50m of track and spread fresh lime on the existing track - all ready for term 2 🙌.

We also continued work on the Featherston Substation, working alongside our power providers ⚡️.

A busy week lies ahead with jobs from one end of the valley to the next 👍.
