Meet Corven Blackquill the Human Fiend Warlock — a Demon-Bound Destroyer who has turned forbidden knowledge into a weapon.

This miniature is built around the Book of the Condemned: an open living tome, scorched contract pages and controlled hellfire reaching toward the casting hand. The design is meant to feel like a warlock who is not merely serving a fiend, but actively collecting the power and knowledge needed to become something far more dangerous.

Now that the model is printed, the details that stand out most to me are the book, the hellfire and the way the base carries the story.

August was a big month for Emberborn Creations. We moved from ideas and reference art into finished, print-ready fantasy miniatures—and every model taught us something about proportions, bases, weapons, and making designs survive the real world of 3D printing.

This is the final August catch-up post before we move into the next wave of characters. Which Emberborn model or class would you most like to see next?

Meet Brynja Runeforge, a Dwarf Rune Knight who carries old giant magic into battle behind a heavy shield and war hammer. Hill and fire runes are worked through the design, including a fire rune carried directly onto the hammer itself.
Brynja was developed as an original Emberborn Creations miniature with thick heroic proportions, oversized equipment and deeply readable rune details designed to remain visible after resin printing and painting.

Meet Varka Stoneheart, a Half-Orc Champion who fights with the confidence of someone entirely comfortable being the strongest person in the room. Sword in hand and a heavy spiked shield ready, her stance is less a defence than an invitation for the enemy to try their luck.
This original Emberborn Creations fighter was designed around a bold heroic silhouette, oversized readable equipment and a compact stance that keeps her powerful without wasting base space. The result is a model built to feel solid, direct and unmistakably martial.

Meet Elyra Starbow, an Elf Arcane Archer built as a seasoned battlefield marksman rather than a delicate woodland bowman. Her oversized greatbow, veteran stance and sword at the belt give her the presence of someone who has survived more battles than most people have seen.
Elyra was created as an original Emberborn Creations fighter and refined for heroic tabletop scale, with a strong upper-body silhouette, readable equipment and sturdy details designed to survive the transition from concept art to resin.

Meet Garrick Ironreach, a Human Battle Master who treats every fight as a problem to be solved before the enemy realises they are already out of position. A dedicated polearm specialist, Garrick relies on reach, timing and battlefield control rather than reckless aggression.
This original Emberborn Creations fighter was refined around a straight, readable polearm, a compact stance and heroic proportions that keep the weapon and character clear at tabletop scale. His shield is carried behind him, reinforcing the practical veteran feel without crowding the main silhouette.
Would Garrick be the tactical backbone of your party, a veteran mercenary captain, or the disciplined opponent who makes every square of the battlefield dangerous?

Meet Lyssara Thornstep, a Satyr Bard whose performances blur the line between dance and combat. Every step, turn and flourish is deliberate, using movement and timing to inspire allies while keeping opponents guessing where the next strike will come from.
Lyssara's original Emberborn Creations design combines backward-curving horns, a long double-plait, dagger and battle-dancer accessories with a dynamic Thornstep dance-circle base. The pose is energetic, but the forms remain thick and readable for tabletop printing.

Meet Korrak Ironchord, a Half-Orc Bard whose axe-lute is built for performances that tend to get a little out of hand. With one foot planted on a crate and enough presence to own any tavern stage, Korrak is equal parts travelling musician, battle bard and walking noise complaint.
The sculpt was developed as an original Emberborn Creations character with the axe-lute as its defining silhouette, supported by bold heroic proportions and sturdy details intended to stay readable after printing.

Meet Pippa Tinkertune, a Gnome Bard who finds music in gears, toys and anything else she can coax into making a tune. Part performer and part toymaker, Pippa brings a workshop's worth of imagination wherever she travels.
Her Emberborn Creations sculpt leans into that personality with oversized curly hair, chunky readable tool details and a music-box workshop theme, all built around the heroic proportions and sturdy forms we use for resin printing.
