The concept behind this character was built around the contrast between an otherwise mortal adventurer and the unmistakable spark of something greater within them. A little side project from Emberborn Creations.

This is Mordrak Shadeborn, a male Half-Orc Shadow Sorcerer I created as a standalone character concept and Meshy showcase.

He isn’t currently planned as a tabletop miniature, so I had a bit more freedom to push the design toward a darker, more cinematic direction — heavier proportions, stronger shadow themes, and a more dramatic overall presence without worrying quite as much about printability.

Projects like this are a good chance to experiment with ideas outside the main miniature range and see how far I can push a character visually.

I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out.
