The S2068 model of Serene bathroom heaters has been recalled since May, 2024, after it was found to have a defect.

Lighting upgrade from (would you believe two rather sad bulkhead lights that barely emitted any light) to soffit recessed 8W LED lights. Bit of a challenge working around the existing trusses/timber & getting the spacing just right.
But everyone agreed it looked awesome!

There are a lot of lights but the idea is to highlight future wall art on the brick columns as well as improve the area lighting.

A WiFi dimmer connected as well so as the evening progresses the lights are dimmed right down without going back inside away from the outdoor fireplace 🔥 😉

If you're going to run a generator with the power being off at present PLEASE DO NOT connect it directly to the house etc unless there is a specific generator inlet plug & changeover switch (can back feed into the grid otherwise).
Run a lead directly for fridges or pumps.
Freezers are good for a few days if the door stays closed.

Looks like there's a phase out on Pataua South Road before Kerr Road with at least two properties affected (it may be just a transformer fault rather than a feeder).
If you have part power give Northpower faults a call on 430 1800.

Can also go over concrete as well.

Planned Northpower outage Neptune Drive area 09:00 - 12:00 Friday 16th - not sure how much of McLeod Bay is affected as well but if your power is off that's probably why.
