Our team has successfully completed another project, creating an excellent space for students at Maunu Primary School. The scope of our project management included demolishing the old playground, undertaking earthworks, drainage, installing new edge boards, constructing a new footpath, and installing new play equipment. This new playground will provide lasting benefits and enjoyment for the community for years to come.

A fantastic week was spent on the Waiotemarama falls track, undertaking track upgrades, drainage, and resurfacing work for the Aspect team. This scenic track is notable for its waterfalls and stunning Kauri trees for those prepared to undertake the hike.

In collaboration with Aspect Bio Solutions, we embarked on another installation project within the stunning Kauri forest.Together, we designed, built, and installed an innovative barrel and grate capture cleaning station, complete with a 300 LTR waste capacity. This forward-thinking unit ensures additional safeguarding for the Kauri trees, serving as a vital secondary hygiene control measure.

Aspect Contracting's 2026 schedule kicked off with a 30 meter double flying fox and basket swing installation project at the local high school, undertaken by the company's experienced playground construction team.

Following extensive testing, trailing, and months of diligent effort, including late nights in the workshop, the day of our inaugural custom retrofit installation has finally arrived. Last week, Aspect Contracting, in conjunction with our sister company Aspect Bio Solutions successfully undertook the installation at New Zealand's most iconic site, Tane Mahuta. Our innovative Kauri Dieback pump and boot spray system, capable of spraying both feet simultaneously with a single pump compression, has been deployed. The system is powered by a 1000LTR tank, enabling us to achieve 30,000 compressions/users. Given that this site attracts 300-400 visitors per day during peak season, our new system is expected to increase throughput by 50-70% compared to the existing method.
