Burglars hate good lighting 🔦
Thanks to Jake's previous career 👮 we know a thing or two about where lighting matters most:
💡 Light the entry points: front door, side gate, garage and back door
💡 Aim lights at the approaches, not just the door itself, so you get warning before someone's right at the house
💡 Mount them high enough that they're hard to tamper with
💡 Cover dark corners and the paths between buildings
Good lighting won't stop everything, but it makes your place a lot less appealing to anyone sneaking around.
