Few screen shots of a 7" Weintek cMTx HMI we recently done for a customer.
The old HMI had lost its touch, so we uploaded a copy of the PLC program and made this new easy to use and navigate layout.
Also made a full user manual to go with it on the operation of the new HMI.

We have recently done an upgrade on a large mixing/mincing machine.
The old operator interface was near imposable for the average person to operate and creating a mixing recipe was problematic to say the least.

We wrote new plc code and installed a beckhoff PLC with some added features. Disgned a new Weintek HMI layout, install and commissioned.

Now the operation is straight forward and recipe creation is as simple as it gets.

All faults and machine operation statuses are also displayed on the HMI. Along with the machine manual in pdf form.

Thursday was a trip to Auckland for some Servo drive fault finding on a production line. Back next year to carry out some repairs.
A successful day, but can't say I'm a fan of that traffic.

Check out this quick Video of something I have been working on in the back ground.

Motion, Servo Drives and Robotics is a very cool subject, if your into that kind of thing!
So I decided to make a CNC Machine from scratch!

Being able to control Servo motors opens up a lot of opportunities for some real neat projects. They are used in everything form CNC and packaging machines to robotic arms.
