We’re having a big plant sale this Labour Weekend at our nursery — 68 Trig Road, Whenuapai! 🌱

Come and explore our huge range of plants — from lush palms to groundcovers, shrubs, succulents, bromeliads, and flowering plants. Plus, we’ve got lots of pots (large and small, for indoors or outdoors), stand-alone fish ponds, and a few bird baths to add something special to your garden.

Check out the 'befor'e and 'after' photos of this wonderful before and after clearout. Lots of privet, arum lilys, ginger, ivy and weeds - we filled a 15m skip bin!

Does your garden need a freshen up?
Our services include: hedge trimming, plant taming, and mulching. We can also improve your garden spaces with plant removal, and replanting to create the garden you want. We don't recommend weedmat, as this stops the natural cycle that keeps your soil healthy. Worms are attracted to soil that is enriched with compost and mulch, and will aerate the earth which is essential if you have clay soil. Worm castings hold moisture, which means less watering and the soil stays lighter and fluffier. The soil’s microorganisms also thrive, breaking down the mineral matter into the nutrients that plants need to grow.

Another garden makeover completed : the request was to install a hedge plant to improve privacy along the back fence, and a mini makeover on a side garden area, along with edging to complete and make it easier for mowing.
We used Pseudopanax ‘Cyril Watson’ which is an excellent hedge plant and generally not susceptible to disease and pests. The finish on this garden is ‘Tokoroa gold’ which is an aged mulch so the birds won’t kick it onto the pathways and lawn 🙌 Before and Afters show the results ✅
