Blane Kete - Head Builder/Owner
Affectionally known on the rugby field as the "Kete Bus", Blane moved back the gorgeous Wairarapa in late 2019.
After years of travelling and living abroad, he was ready to reunite with his whānau and amid the looming Covid pandemic.
🏈 Blane's passion for playing rugby started at a young age with the loving support from his family, especially his pāpā - Toby Hawea. Blane has always chosen to proudly wear black, red and yellow for Greytown rugby team when he was back in NZ and had a stint representing Wai Bush in 2017.
🍺 Never being one to turn down a cold Export 33, Blane enjoys a yarn and a bevie. Still extremely close to the friends from childhood, his loved ones were also a huge pull back to the mighty Rapa.
🔨 Entering his building apprenticeship at 18 in Wellington, Blane knew he didn't want to go to Uni, but was keen to gain a trade in the industry. He soon learnt he had a real passion for building and has never stopped since.
Purchasing his first home with fiancé Nicole in June 2021, his free time is spent on home renos and catching up with the fam.
