Here is my version of the blind Drow lunar monk from DM Stash.

Not sure how I feel about this one...Tried to make something different for him, but am 50/50 whether I like it or not, you decide? A great sculpt though and a great piece to paint.

Here is my version of Yirenhe Shadowwind from Txiki Design Studio.

Another great sculpt from Javier, who I highly regard. His work really fits my eye and love painting his stuff. Was great fun to paint her and enjoyed putting in some off the cuff free hand parts which (I think) really enhanced the model.

Here is my version of the Basaltia, voice of earth bust from Loot Studios.

Fantastic sculpt from Loot and one I enjoyed painting. I had already painted the full 75mm figure of her and loved painting that and this one was even better.
I wanted to paint a much more muted, desaturated skin tone on her and surround her with lots of color and 'bling', she looked like a voodoo lady to me, but what do I know??? lol. I was really pleased how the golden metallics came out, of which I painted two varieties, warm and cold.

Here is my version of the Goblin Berserker from Creature Caster.

Really enjoyed painting this guy. Wanted to make him multi tonal and shifting from red to blue with the underpainting. I am pleased with all the inbetween tones I managed to create between layers while blending everything together and loved how the skulls on the base came out..

Here is my version of Mulgoth the cleaver from Games Workshop.

One of my most enjoyable paints on this guy, tried lots of new and different things on him, underpainting the main colors (ala Craftworld studio) really help set the tone and feel of the mini and built up tones on top. I loved the use of the reds with the greens and blues and am pleased with the result.

Here is my version of The Soulreaver from Flesh of Gods.

A little fun and experimental project that I painted on stream, and I wanted to try to push the lighter tones on darker surfaces and to create more contrast, which I think has 'sorta' worked lol.
I have wanted to paint this guy for nearly 3 years now and really enjoyed painting him, love FoGs character creation and great sculpts.

Here is my (2nd) version of Roboute Guilliman from Games Workshop.

Second time painting 'Girlyman' for me and second time as a commission. A really great mini to paint, but hard to do, soooooo much gold!!!! lol.

Here is my version of Kolin-Doh-Ka from Hugo Gomez.

Great sculpt from Hugo and approached this one differently to how I normally paint. Wanted to make this more 'sketcherly' and unrefined and I quite like how he turned out. I didn't worry too much about blending this one and was trying to get a looser feel to him, overall I'm pleased, but he is quite rough in places, but great fun to paint.

Here is my version of Jull the thief from TxikiDesignStudio.

This was a fun little project for me and I tried to present it a little differently. I took the original bust and cut it in half (in zbrush) and made a backdrop/plate for her to sit against (who likes painting the backs anyways? lol).
Overall I love the result and was a joy to paint using my new Golden Maple brushes and the feedback I have been getting from Eric Swinson.
Great sculpt from Javier and I really like his style and presentation.

Here is my version of Tarum Bloodhammer from Artisan Guild.

Absolutely loved painting this bust, really fits my eye and style, big features and a wee bit cartoony lol...LOVE it!!!
I was really pleased with the skin on him, I have been pushing myself to improve in that area and overall there's a lot i am happy with, great fun to paint and a satisfying result.
I also used a brand new brush, which was sent to me from Golden Maple and found it to worked lovely, still using my Da Vinci's but, it was right up there in quality.
