MANUAL LOAD DROPPING (MLD) SCHEDULE
August 18, 2026 (Tuesday)
Due to the alert levels declared by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) today, Distribution Utilities (DUs), including Negros Power, have been directed to implement possible power interruptions through Manual Load Dropping (MLD) as necessary to help maintain the stability and reliability of the Visayas power grid. At present, the following feeders are being considered for possible MLD implementation (refer to the photo provided).
Please be advised that the schedule, duration, and affected feeders may change at any time, depending on the actual condition of the power system and/or further directives from NGCP.
Negros Power continues to closely coordinate with NGCP and will provide updates as necessary.
