Project Turnover | Fajardo Residence

📍 Calumpit, Bulacan

The skies may have brought us plenty of rain, but they could not keep us from celebrating this milestone.

After months of planning, coordination, hard work, and countless days on site, we are grateful to finally turn over this home to our clients in Calumpit, Bulacan last August 02, 2026.

This humble abode explores a contemporary approach where architecture is not defined by ornament, but by proportion, composition, material contrast, and the relationship between solid and open spaces.

The façade is composed as a series of distinct volumes, allowing the house to feel both grounded and dynamic. White planes create a calm architectural backdrop, while warm wood tones introduce a sense of familiarity and warmth. Grooved surfaces and dark accents provide contrast and rhythm across the façade, while generous glazing allows the interiors to engage with natural light and the surrounding environment.

More than creating a modern appearance, the design seeks to balance privacy and openness, solidity and transparency, warmth and restraint which are qualities that make a house feel like a home rather than simply a structure.

As this project reaches its final chapter, we extend our heartfelt thanksgiving to our clients, the Fajardo Family, for trusting us with something as personal and meaningful as their home. Thank you for allowing us to translate your ideas into a space that will hopefully witness quiet mornings, celebrations, growing families, and countless memories for years to come.

This compact interior fit-out was designed to maximize functionality while maintaining a warm and contemporary atmosphere.

A custom loft bed with integrated cabinetry and stacked vertical drawers that double as stair risers maximizes the unit's vertical volume, freeing the entire main level for a more spacious and comfortable living area. Every piece of built-in furniture was custom-designed with concealed compartments, ensuring that each element serves both functional and aesthetic purposes.

Rich wood tones, matte olive green accent walls, and warm indirect lighting create a cozy yet sophisticated environment, while the fluted wood feature wall and ceiling details add depth and visual continuity.

Every element was carefully planned to provide efficient storage, flexible living spaces, and a refined modern aesthetic — demonstrating how thoughtful design can transform a limited footprint into a highly functional and inviting home.

Conceived as a contemporary tropical home, the design of the residence responds to the owners’ desire for a space that is welcoming, comfortable, and easy to live in. Every detail reflects a balance of 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆, 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Rather than relying on imposing forms or applied ornamentation, the architecture expresses itself through clarity, proportion, and 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 construction details. Its character emerges from the interplay of massing, texture, and functional elements integrated into its very structure and serve both aesthetic and practical purposes.

Deep overhangs, shading devices and geometric forms are integrated into the design to temper heat and glare while giving depth and rhythm to the façade. Materials are chosen for their simple sophistication, tested durability and ease of maintenance.

From the outset, structural integrity, efficiency and performance were considered alongside spatial and aesthetic goals. Each structural element is set to last while working with our design objectives. Utility systems are seamlessly integrated into the architecture rather than treated as afterthoughts. Every decision, from plan to form, is made to create a home that 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨.

Project : Wind 101 - Studio Unit Renovation & Fit-Out
Location : SMDC Wind Residence

Thoughtful design is about creating spaces that work effectively and beautifully, in real life.

This residential interior project was designed with efficiency, warmth, and comfort at its core — blending clean lines, functional planning, natural wood textures, and calming tones to deliver a simple, yet refined and livable environment.

By carefully integrating custom millwork, multi-functional zones and cohesive material selections in collaboration with the Owner, we transformed a compact footprint into a home that feels spacious, organized, and welcoming.

A reminder that great design is never just about aesthetics — it is about improving how people experience their everyday spaces.

A glimpse of what’s taking shape.

This modern residence is now entering its finishing phase—where precision, proportion, and materiality come together to define the final architectural expression. From bold horizontal lines to warm soffit accents, every detail is carefully considered.

More soon.

Set within a generous 1,030-square-meter property in Malolos, Bulacan, this modern tropical residence was designed with a clear and deliberate intent: to create a home that is both climatically responsive and deeply personal.

Rather than imposing on the site, the design began with what was already there. Mature mango trees — kept for their sentimental value — were carefully preserved, providing natural shade while anchoring the home in memory.

The structures unfold as a cohesive composition of clean horizontal lines, warm wood tones, and thoughtful material transitions, reinforcing a calm and grounded presence.

This openness extends to a pool and gazebo area, positioned as a natural extension of the main living spaces — offering a setting for gathering while maintaining a strong connection to the house.

Inside, the spatial experience is defined by sensible planning, volume, and airflow. The common areas are expressed through high ceilings, allowing heat to rise while maintaining a sense of openness.

The three bedrooms are arranged along a main hallway, providing privacy and clear circulation. Above the common areas, a flexible lofted sleeping space overlooks the living zone — balancing openness with intimacy, and supporting both gathering and retreat.

More than a stylistic gesture, the project aims for a measured approach to architecture, one that prioritizes comfort, performance, and longevity. The aspiration is to create a home that would remain simple, breathable, and attuned to its environment.
