🚧 Site Progress Update

Our plumbing and electrical rough-ins are officially completed and inspected-another milestone checked off before moving forward with our slab-on-grade (SOG).

Next up: final preparation, reinforcement checking, and concrete pouring.

💡Construction Trivia:
Did you know? Rebar spacers or chairs play an important role in SOG construction. They keep the reinforcement at its designed elevation so the steel is properly embedded within the concrete instead of resting directly on the ground or moisture barrier. Proper positioning helps the slab perform as intended and maintains the required concrete cover.

What gets covered by concrete is just as important as what stays visible. 🏗️

Our altar design is thoughtfully created as a quiet focal point for prayer, reflection, and family devotion, integrating spirituality with the overall architecture of the home.

💡Did you know? :
In many traditional homes and sacred buildings, altars are intentionally positioned as visual focal points, often emphasized through symmetry, lighting, proportion, and material contrast. In architecture, this creates a sense of hierarchy guiding attention toward the most meaningful space.

A small space, but one with a deeper purpose. 🤍

🚧 Site Progress Update

Another important layer before the concrete pour.

We are now installing the moisture protection beneath our slab-on-grade, creating a barrier between the ground and the concrete slab. Proper installation helps reduce moisture from migrating upward into the building, protecting future floor finishes and improving long-term durability.

💡Construction Trivia:
Did you know? Concrete may look solid, but it is naturally porous. Moisture from the soil can travel through the slab by capillary action and v***r transmission, which may eventually cause dampness, mold growth, adhesive failure, or damage to sensitive floor finishes.

That’s why moisture protection beneath a slab-on-grade is a small detail with a big role in the overall performance of the building.

Good construction starts with the details you won’t see once the project is finished.

🚧 Site Progress Update

Successful structure starts with what you don’t see.

We’re now preparing for the utility rough-in before pouring the slab-on-grade, carefully installing plumbing, electrical conduits, and other embedded services that will soon be hidden beneath the concrete. This stage demands precision because once the slab is cast, making changes becomes significantly more difficult and costly.

💡 Construction Trivia:

Did you know? Plumbing and electrical rough-ins are inspected and tested before they are concealed. The National Plumbing Code of the Philippines requires underground piping to be tested before backfilling, while the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) requires rough electrical installations to be inspected before concealment. This helps ensure safety, code compliance, and avoids costly demolition for future corrections.

Site Progress - Structural Works

Our column formworks using PP formwork panels are nearing completion, marking another important milestone in the structural phase. The project is now being prepared for a monolithic concrete pour, where the columns and beams will be cast simultaneously to achieve enhanced structural integrity, continuity, and construction efficiency.

Every detail is executed with precision because a strong structure begins long before the finishes.
