Zumicon Coating & Waterproofing Services is currently undertaking an ongoing waterproofing project at a major thermal power plant in Bataan. The project involves the installation of a seamless polyurethane waterproofing system finished with a distinctive green aliphatic polyurethane topcoat, providing both superior weather resistance and a clean, highly visible protective finish.
The scope of work includes comprehensive surface preparation, treatment of existing cracks and substrate defects, correction of localized ponding areas, application of specialized primer, installation of multiple coats of elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing, and the final application of a UV-resistant green polyurethane topcoat. The completed system forms a durable, flexible membrane capable of accommodating structural movement while preventing water intrusion.
Beyond its vibrant appearance, the green polyurethane topcoat offers exceptional resistance to ultraviolet exposure, standing water, abrasion, and weathering—qualities essential for facilities operating around the clock in demanding industrial environments. Its reflective finish also contributes to reducing heat absorption while providing an easily inspectable surface for future maintenance.
Executing waterproofing works within an operating thermal power plant requires meticulous planning, strict compliance with safety protocols, and close coordination with plant personnel. Every activity is carefully scheduled to minimize operational disruptions while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, environmental compliance, and occupational safety.
At Zumicon, we remain committed to delivering engineered waterproofing solutions that extend the service life of critical infrastructure. Through quality materials, skilled craftsmanship, and disciplined project ex*****on, we continue to help industrial facilities protect their assets, improve reliability, and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
