The layout is kept open to allow good flow from the kitchen while maintaining a clear visual focus on the dining table as the center of the space.

Large windows were intentionally placed to bring in natural light and create a bright, relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. Sheer curtains soften the daylight, making the space feel calm and inviting rather than overly formal. The ceiling height, combined with subtle cove lighting, adds a sense of openness without making the room feel too grand or impersonal.

Wood finishes add warmth and character, while the textured wall behind the counter provides depth and visual interest without competing with the rest of the space. Lighting fixtures were chosen to be simple yet distinctive, giving the dining area its own identity while remaining cohesive with the overall interior design.

Designed for comfort and ease of movement, with a layout that allows clear circulation around the bed. Layered lighting—combining recessed downlights and cove lighting—provides soft, even illumination. Warm, matte finishes and natural wood tones create a calm and inviting atmosphere.

SPC flooring was chosen for its durability, slip resistance, and thermal comfort, staying pleasant underfoot even with air-conditioning. Built-in cabinetry with integrated seating adds functionality and convenience. The space combines practicality and comfort while maintaining a clean, modern architectural character.

Subsequently, one of her sons entrusted our team with the design of his future home.
