ATAD OFFICIALLY PUBLISHES EPD ON THE INTERNATIONAL EPD® SYSTEM

On June 16, 2026, ATAD’s Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) was officially published on The International EPD® System, following a rigorous process of independent verification and international technical review conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC), under the supervision framework of SWEDAC – the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment.

Unlike qualitative environmental claims, an EPD is developed based on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, enabling the environmental impacts of a product to be quantified in accordance with internationally recognized standards and methods.

To meet these stringent assessment criteria, ATAD developed its EPD in accordance with ISO 14025, EN 15804, ISO 14040, ISO 14044, and the applicable Product Category Rules (PCR) for construction products. The process involved the collection, validation, and assessment of data related to raw materials, transportation, production, energy consumption, and environmental information within the declared scope.

The publication of ATAD’s EPD marks an important milestone in the company’s sustainability journey, demonstrating its commitment to environmental data transparency in line with international standards. It also enables customers and partners to access independently verified environmental data, supporting requirements for green building, ESG, and sustainable procurement in the global market.
