From brief to build, this project was a journey of color, culture, and collaboration.
For Tong Yang Zamboanga, the design brief was both exciting and meaningful: to create a space that reflects the warmth, vibrance, and rich ethnic identity of Zamboanga, while staying true to the energy of the Tong Yang dining experience.
The result is a bold and festive space layered with color, pattern, texture, and light — from the striking blue facade to the warm interiors, woven details, illuminated arches, and playful geometric elements inspired by the city’s diverse cultural character.
This project challenged us to translate identity into space. The design draws from Zamboanga’s cultural vibrance, translating its warmth, color, and rhythm into a bold dining experience.
