GOLDEN HOUR
Inspired by the journey of gold—from its discovery in the earth to the meticulous process of harvesting, filtering, separating, and refining—the interior palette translates each stage into material, texture, and light.
The stone and mineral tones represent the earth from which gold is drawn. Soft taupes, sand, warm greys, and textured surfaces recall layers of soil, sediment, and mineral deposits. Deep bronze and dark metallic details reference the filtering and separation process, while restrained touches of warm gold and amber light symbolize the precious material that finally emerges after refinement.
Rather than using gold literally or excessively, it appears almost as a reward within the composition—revealed through the chandelier’s glow, metallic accents, and subtle warmth against an otherwise quiet, mineral palette.
Even the dramatic chandelier works beautifully with the story: its cascading strands can be read almost as particles of gold dust being sifted, filtered, and gathered, suspended within the double-height volume.
The result is a home that moves from raw to refined, earthy to precious, subdued to luminous—capturing not simply the color of gold, but the process of discovering it.
