3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

The drill, conducted on September 26, 2024 at exactly 9:00 o' clock in the morning was a resounding success, with active participation from students, faculty, and staff across all departments.

This exercise, in coordination with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), aimed to enhance earthquake preparedness and promote safety awareness within our campus community.

We commend everyone for their cooperation and commitment to safety. Let this drill remind us all of the importance of readiness in the face of real natural calamities. Together, we continue to build a culture of preparedness and safety at DMMA College of Southern Philippines.

Congratulations to all who participated, and let's stay vigilant and prepared for any emergencies that may arise.

- Kasagaran mahitabo kini tungod sa impeksyon nga dala sa kagaw (bacteria, virus, o parasite). Makuha ang kagaw pinaagi sa pagkaon og kontaminadong pagkaon, o pag-inom og kontaminadong tubig

MODE OF TRANSMISSION

SINYALES UG SINTOMAS
- Paglibang og tubigon o humok nga tae lagpas tulo ka sagunson sulod sa usa ka adlaw
- Sobra nga kauhaw
- Naglalum ang mga mata
- Naglalum ang hubon sa mga batang wa pay usa ka tuig ang edadang mga mata

PAGTAMBAL
- Painumon og Oral Rehydration Solution o ORESOLPwede hatagan og Homemade Solution (upat ka kutsaritang
- Pwede hatagan og Homemade Solution (upat ka kutsaritang
asukar,isa ka kutsaritang asin isagol sa usa ka litrong tubig)
- Ang padayon nga pagpakaon importante.
- Rice soup (AM) aron ilisan ang nawala nga pluwido o tubig sa lawas.

PREVENTION UG CONTROL
- Pag-inom og tubig gikan lamang sa luwas nga tinubdan. (Kung dili sigurado, MAGPABUKAL og tubig sulod sa 10 minutos o mag-water chlorination.)
- Kaon og mga pagkaon nga saktong pagkaluto ug husto ug limpyung pagkaandam.
- Siguraduong layo sa mga insekto ug peste sama sa ok-ok ug ilaga, ang mga pagkaon.
- Hugasan ang mga prutas ug gulay gamit ang limpyo nga tubig sa dili pa mokaon o magluto.
- Malibang o mangihi sa mga kasilyas lamang.
- Manghugas og kamot sa dili pa mokaon ug human sa paggamit sa kasilyas
