Good news mga ka-jrj. Bumaba ng 18cents ang residential rate. 🤗

The overall residential rate of Davao Light for May 2026 is P10.35 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), reflecting a decrease of P0.18/kWh from last month’s rate of P10.53/kWh. This rate applies to electricity bills received from May 12 to June 10.

The lower rate is attributed to a reduction in transmission rate from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). Additionally, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has directed the temporary suspension of the P0.0371/kWh Green Energy Auction Allowance (GEA-All) collection for the May and June 2026 billing periods.

Davao Light reminds customers that rates change monthly and encourages continued energy-efficiency practices to help manage electricity costs.

Electrical Rate Update mga ka-JRJ ☺️

The overall residential electricity rate of Davao Light decreased by P0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this April, bringing the new rate to P10.53/kWh from last month’s P10.63/kWh. This adjusted rate applies to electricity bills received from April 12 to May 11, 2026.

The decrease is primarily due to lower power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), one of Davao Light's power supply sources. Since market prices remain volatile, Davao Light reminds customers that rates change monthly and encourages the continued practice of energy efficiency to manage electricity costs.

Nag increase nanaman ng 33cents yung Residential Rate mga Ka-JRJ. 🥲Let's stay focus on conserving energy or adapt to new technology such as SOLAR POWER for reduction of Electric Bill and at the same time alternative source of electricity. 😊

The overall residential rate of Davao Light this March 2026 is at P10.63 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), reflecting a P0.33/kWh increase from last month’s rate of P10.30/kWh.

The rate adjustment is attributed to the higher prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), a venue for trading electricity as a commodity, which is one of Davao Light’s supply sources.

This rate applies to electricity bills received from March 12 to April 11, 2026.

Davao Light continues to encourage customers to manage their energy consumption wisely.

Good news mga ka-JRJ ☺️ Bumaba ng Php 1.42 ang Electricity Rate ngayon. Let’s keep on conserving energy parin kahit nag rollback and adapt to new technologies like Solar PV Systems para sa ganun ay mas liliit ang ating Bill sa kuryente. ☺️✅

The overall residential electricity rate of Davao Light decreased by ₱1.42 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this February. This brings the new rate to ₱10.30/kWh, lower than last month’s ₱11.72/kWh. This rate applies to electricity bills received from February 11 to March 11, 2026.

This adjustment is mainly driven by lower power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), one of Davao Light's sources of power supply.

Davao Light reminds customers that market prices are volatile, resulting in monthly changes in power rates. The distribution utility encourages customers to continue practicing efficient use of energy to avoid high electricity bills.
