Good news mga ka-JRJ ☺️ Bumaba ng Php 1.42 ang Electricity Rate ngayon. Let’s keep on conserving energy parin kahit nag rollback and adapt to new technologies like Solar PV Systems para sa ganun ay mas liliit ang ating Bill sa kuryente. ☺️✅

The overall residential electricity rate of Davao Light decreased by ₱1.42 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this February. This brings the new rate to ₱10.30/kWh, lower than last month’s ₱11.72/kWh. This rate applies to electricity bills received from February 11 to March 11, 2026.

This adjustment is mainly driven by lower power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), one of Davao Light's sources of power supply.

Davao Light reminds customers that market prices are volatile, resulting in monthly changes in power rates. The distribution utility encourages customers to continue practicing efficient use of energy to avoid high electricity bills.

Mga ka-jrj, here's the new electricity rate for residential. There's an increase of Php 2.01 per kWh. Let's keep in mind to conserve energy to prevent our bills from going up. 😊

The overall residential electricity rate this January 2026 is at P11.7187 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), reflecting a P2.0052/kWh increase from last December’s rate of P9.7135/kWh, due to higher power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) caused by several power plant outages in the previous month. Additionally, the implementation of the new government charge, the Green Energy Auction Allowance (GEA-All) under the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Case No. 2025-127 RC dated December 26, 2025, contributed to the overall increase.

This rate applies to bills received from January 11 to February 10, 2026.

Davao Light encourages customers to practice energy efficiency to help manage electricity bills.

The residential electricity rate of Davao Light went down by ₱0.3477 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this December. This brings the new rate to ₱9.7135/kWh, lower than last month’s ₱10.0612/kWh. The reduced rate applies to electricity bills received from December 11, 2025, to January 10, 2026.

This adjustment is largely driven by lower power prices at the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), one of the sources of Davao Light’s power supply.

Davao Light reminds customers that market prices are volatile, resulting in regular monthly changes in power rates. The company further encourages customers to efficiently manage consumption this holiday season.
