Along with Metro Manila and Other nearby Provinces, Cavite will be placed under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine. This is the official decision that has been made by the President as advised by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease - August 2, 2020. In line with this, O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning will suspend all of its operations including its scheduled Partial Operations that is supposed to begin today, August 3, 2020. This suspension shall take effect immediately and will remain until further notice. Thank you!

Air-conditioning units are units that regulates and conditions indoor air system. SARS-CoV 2 Virus which causes Covid-19 infection can stay on surface for a few hours to days. The Virus can also be absorbed by Air-conditioning Units and Systems.

Once we start accepting Select Job Order Requests, we will be charging an amount of P 200.00 Php Infection Control Fee as this would be used for disinfecting and additional protection for our employees. Please note that the amount stated here-in is only for the Non-Inverter Window-type Air-conditioning Units. In the event that we start accepting other type of items or we start sending Dispatch Teams, the Infection Control Fees will vary accordingly.

GENERAL SERVICING TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE PANDEMIC

PART I

All Face-to-Face interactions which includes Dispatch/Home/Site Visits and alike remains suspended.
Limited Services that will be provided will be performed at any of our Servicing Hubs. Customer shall set an appointment with an O&S Representative prior to their visit to our hub.
O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning will charge an Infection Control Fee which shall be paid together with any applicable fees at the time of the Customer’s Visit.
Unit(s) will be tested with the customer/customer’s representative present but will not be diagnosed fully. This allows us to identify the primary issue of the unit(s) together with the Customer. Unit(s) will also be tested for General Cleaning Job Orders.
Customer shall leave their unit(s) at any of our Servicing Hubs. Should there be any findings, Quotation together with the Terms and Conditions will be issued to the customer thru Email which shall be subject to Customer approval. Only minor repair/replacement of parts (if supplies are available) will be accommodated. Otherwise, O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning has the right to decline/discontinue the repair due to different circumstances (e.g. Part(s) are no longer available, Difficulty in obtaining parts due to Quarantine Restrictions, etc.).

GENERAL SERVICING TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING THE PANDEMIC

PART II

Customers are not allowed to stay in any of our Hubs and/or within its vicinity in compliance with the guidelines provided by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease/Government.
Customers not wearing mask will not be entertained. Furthermore, Customers without appointments will not be entertained.
Once the Service has been completed, Customers will be informed that they can claim their units. Unit(s) will be tested with the Customer/Customer’s Representative and has to pay any amount due (if applicable) before the unit(s) can be released.
Service-Level Agreements are temporarily suspended. This means that the length of the time duration from the day that O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning received the unit to its completion cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, a total completion of the repair cannot be guaranteed as this may vary depending on the severity of the unit(s) issue which may require major repair/part replacement that may not be available. Long delays, changes in rates and availabilities are expected.

JOB ORDER REQUEST STARTING August 10, 2020

We announced that starting August 10, 2020, we will be accepting Job Orders for Non-Inverter Window-type Air-conditioning Units.

Here-under is the list of Job Order requests that we will be processing:
- Basic Troubleshooting/Initial Check
- Minor Repair
- Replacement of Minor Parts
(If supplies are available)
- Air-conditioning Unit General Cleaning

As we are about to resume partial operations on August 3, 2020, effective immediately upon the release of this announcement, O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Service Center, Co. will include a “Non-Waiver Clause” on all our Terms which states…

“Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Our Operations may be interrupted and our policies may change from time-to-time to meet the requirements set forth by the Government. By availing our products and/or services, the customer and its representatives understands and agrees that O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Service Center, Co. or any of its representatives will not be held liable and/or responsible to any loss and/or damage to customer’s item(s), unit(s), orders, applicable warranty(-ies), finances, property(-ies), and/or integrity due to interrupted or total closure and/or suspension of any of our businesses as part of our compliance to the rules and regulations provided by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease/Government. Furthermore, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that it is the sole right of O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Service Center, Co. to implement modification and/or impose new terms, conditions and/or resolutions to ensure our compliance to the rules and regulations set forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease/Government.”

This Clause shall be subject to customer’s approval. However, existing customers with existing and/or pending Job Orders, Orders, Contracts will be asked to sign the same agreement. Otherwise, O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Service Center, Co. will have to suspend the Job Order/Contract/Agreement. Signed Terms and Conditions apply.

O&S Refrigeration and Air-conditioning strictly implements precautionary measures to help prevent the spread and transmission of the SARS CoV-2 Virus, the same virus that causes Covid-19.

In line with this, all operations with face-to-face interactions are temporarily suspended. Cash, Cash on Delivery, Check Payments are also suspended. Only ACH/Bank/Cash Transfers and G-Cash are accepted while we are still in the process of starting to accept payment via Credit/Debit Card transactions.

Delivery Service for Orders will resume in areas under General Community Quarantine, Modified General Community Quarantine and Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine given that both the customer and the courier observes Social Distancing and No Touch Policy where-in our Customers are asked to designate a table, a room or an area where our courier can place the orders being delivered. This area shall only be located outside the gate/outside the customer’s premise.

Please be informed that Order Processing and Delivery may take longer than usual as the Government strictly implements precautionary measures all-over the country which affects our overall operations.

All Major areas of our business remains un-operational until further notice. We will be resuming our Sales Operations for Select Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Accessories, Parts and Supplies beginning August 3, 2020. This may change depending on the guidelines and policies implemented by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease, Government’s initiative in stemming the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 2 Virus that caused Covid 19 infection.
