Last Saturday, April 25, we proudly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Proposed 2-Storey Residential-Commercial Building in San Isidro, Ibajay. This moment represents the realization of a vision carefully planned and designed to serve both residential comfort and commercial opportunity in one cohesive space.

The ceremony was made even more meaningful with a blessing of the site, as well as the workers, designers, and owners, entrusting the entire project to guidance, protection, and success as we begin this journey together.

From concept to site, every detail of this project reflects our commitment to thoughtful architecture—creating environments that are not only functional, but also meaningful to the people who will use them every day. As the first steps are taken on site, we are excited to see this structure gradually rise and become a valuable addition to the growing community of Ibajay.

Presenting our 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝟐-𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥–𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐫𝐨, 𝐈𝐛𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐧—a thoughtfully designed mixed-use development that responds to both lifestyle and business needs. The ground level is dedicated to accessible and flexible commercial units, creating opportunities for local enterprises to thrive, while the upper level offers a warm, inviting café environment that encourages connection, relaxation, and everyday experiences.

𝘼 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝.

Introducing our 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝟐-𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, thoughtfully designed as a separate structure from the 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚—creating a perfect balance between privacy and shared living.

The guest house is envisioned as a quiet, comfortable retreat. The ground level integrates a functional garage with efficient access, while the second floor houses well-planned guest rooms that prioritize ventilation, natural light, and a sense of calm. It’s a space designed for rest, independence, and convenience.

Complementing this is the Outdoor Family Area, a distinct structure dedicated to gatherings, bonding, and everyday leisure. By separating these two zones, the design allows guests to enjoy privacy while still being just steps away from a vibrant, social environment—an intentional layout that enhances both comfort and usability.

Guiding the entire concept is a carefully curated mood board—setting the tone through warm textures, natural finishes, and earthy palettes. From textured lime plaster and Venetian finishes to wood elements and stone accents, each material is selected to unify both structures while giving each its own character. The mood board ensures that every detail—from walls to finishes—works cohesively before construction even begins.

In this project, J.P. TRAJE Architectural Studio is in charge of both Design and Project Management, ensuring that the vision is translated into reality with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail from start to finish.
