We are proud to share that our project, Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, has received the Design Award of Merit at the OBRA: UAP Design Excellence Awards 2026 by the United Architects of the Philippines, while Manta Corporate Plaza was also recognized as a shortlisted entry in this year’s awards, celebrating excellence in architecture and design.

The Design: Located in Arca South, Taguig, the Philippines' first comprehensive cancer facility features a layout centered on "caring beyond curing," utilizing natural light, familiar colors, and a roof deck where patients can experience fresh air and changing light.

The Impact: Revolutionizes the patient experience by replacing traditional open wards with "quads"—private rooms divided by walls rather than curtains—and separating service elevators to preserve the dignity of bed-ridden patients.

Placemaking: Creates a "bright and pleasant" urban sanctuary that feels less like a clinical institution and more like a supportive community hub, integrating art, landscape, and prayer rooms to support holistic recovery.

Professional Upgrade: An influential educator and expert who has led the design of landmark institutions like The Medical City and the Asian Hospital, and was instrumental in retrofitting the Philippine General Hospital for pandemic resilience.
