𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍: Bilang pakikiisa sa programang “𝐎𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚” ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, patuloy na nagsasagawa ang 𝐃𝐏𝐖𝐇 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 ng routine maintenance activities sa iba’t ibang road sections ng distrito. Kabilang dito ang clearing of 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑔𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠, 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑐𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑓 𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑠 upang mapanatiling maayos ang daloy ng tubig at makatulong sa flood mitigation efforts ng pamahalaan sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Secretary Vince Dizon.

𝗗𝗣𝗪𝗛 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 ₱𝟮𝟵𝟳.𝟲𝗠 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has allocated ₱297.6 million from its 2025 budget to launch the first phase of the new Simuay Bridge in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.

The Simuay Bridge, built in the 1960's, is a critical infrastructure component crucial for agricultural transportation and regional connectivity of the extensive Cotabato-Lanao Road network. It serves as a key link between Maguindanao del Norte and Lanao provinces.

The new structure is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve road safety. The DPWH Regional Office XII will utilize specialized technical plans currently being finalized by the department’s Unified Project Management Office (UPMO). These blueprints are expected to be completed by June 2026, ensuring that Phase 1 construction proceeds without delay.

While the DPWH Region XII manages the initial bridge construction, the UPMO will oversee the succeeding phases and the completion of the main iconic structure. The later stages are proposed for foreign funding to meet the project’s complex architectural and engineering requirements.

Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s infrastructure directives, the completed bridge will enhance community connectivity and provide a major boost to the local economy by streamlining the transport of goods and services. This project is set to provide long-awaited relief for commuters in Maguindanao and across adjacent provinces.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: Pormal nang binuksan ng DPWH Region XII sa publiko ang dalawang tulay sa Carmen at Kabacan, Cotabato, upang palakasin ang konektibidad sa pagitan ng Region XII at Region X sa Mindanao.

Ibinahagi ni Jihad Pangandigan, residente ng Brgy. 𝗧𝗔𝗡-𝗔𝗪𝗔: Mas luwas kag mas maayo nga dalan sa mga motorista ang hatud sang natapos nga proyekto sa Barangay Malinao, Banisilan, Cotabato. Ang 556 ka metros nga karsada nga ginpatuman sang Cotabato 3rd District Engineering Office may kaupod nga drainage structures, reinforced headwalls, catch basins, kag kanal.

Dako naman ang pagpasalamat sang mga residente ilabi na ang mga mangunguma bangud sa mas maayo nga paghulag sang ila nga mga produkto paryas sang palay, mais, kag lubi. Mas nagadamo man ang oportunidad, bulig suporta sa pag-uswag ilabi na sang lagyo nga mga komunidad.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: Mas ligtas at mas maayos na daan sa mga motorista ang hatid ng natapos na proyekto sa Barangay Malinao, Banisilan, Cotabato. 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: The DPWH South Cotabato 1st DEO is finalizing a bridge project to connect Brgy. Batomelong and Upper Labay in General Santos City.

Barangay Upper Labay is known for its fertile lands and thriving agricultural activities that support local food production and livelihoods. Meanwhile, Barangay Batomelong serves as a vital access point to the city’s central district and surrounding lowland areas.

For many years, residents have faced difficulties due to limited and unsafe crossing points, which have affected the efficient transport of goods and access to essential services.

The bridge, with a total physical target of 314.082 square meters, will help address these concerns by improving connectivity, reducing travel time, and facilitating the movement of agricultural products such as corn, coconut, and various fruits, while also enhancing access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
