First project completed - GMD Construction renovated this three-storey townhouse in Quezon City, aiming to give the home a modern, but welcoming aesthetic. We constructed drop ceilings, installed new floor and wall tiles, and painted using muted colors to achieve this feel. We also extended both the existing kitchen on the ground floor and the bedroom directly above it, providing more space for the client.
Water leakage at multiple locations has also become a major issue for the client. To solve this, we inspected all possible sources such as utility pipes and fittings, storm drains, and sanitary fixtures. Once we have identified the root cause for each water leak location, we then rectified each source by either properly applying waterproofing material on wet areas in the house, or by replacing damaged or improperly installed pipe fittings. We conducted leak tests to ensure that the house is watertight.
