During the 2006 renovation of Abelardo Hall, the Mini Hall underwent acoustic treatment and most notably acoustic chandeliers inspired by the organic shape of a Kawa made of fiberglass, and poly-cylindrical diffusers and low-frequency absorbers made from plywood and fabricated with high-pressure laminate panels were commissioned.

Since then Mini Hall has been used as an intimate space for recitals, performance exams, workshops, and masterclasses for esteemed faculty members, alumni, and visiting international artists.

These curved panels also known as acoustic canopy scatter and diffuse sound evenly through out Holy Angel University’s auditorium in the Philippines designed to distribute the high-quality sounds of world-class musical ensembles like the renowned Manila Symphony Orchestra, and recently Holy Angel University Orchestra from 2008 until now, a testament of its quality.

Audio Test: From dead air 🔇 to 360 surround sound 🔊 a total audio-visual immersion experience tested using gameplay from Final Fantasy XV.

This space was treated with fiberglass and composite absorber material panelling, and features precision-crafted bespoke speakers with immersive Dolby Atmos 7.1 surround sound.
