Imagine fixing reinforcing bars (rebar) for the footing foundation and column starter bars without a lean concrete mud slab, relying solely on a layer of gravel amidst a continuous flow of water. This process is extremely difficult. Typically, the movement of steel fixers and the weight of the rebars causes the gravel layer to mix with the underlying soil, compromising the foundation's base and levelness. The rebars are already resting on the lean concrete with proper concrete spacer.
