Cleaner shores start with people who are willing to take part.

The Buskowitz team joined the International Coastal Cleanup at SM by the Bay on September 19, spending the morning collecting waste and helping fellow volunteers clean the shoreline.

It was a few hours of getting our hands dirty, working together, and helping out where we could.

FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading provider of integrated third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain solutions, has partnered with Buskowitz Energy to expand its use of renewable energy at the FAST Cold Chain Hub Cebu through a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement.

Buskowitz Energy will install and manage a 779.96-kilowatt-peak (kWp) grid-tied rooftop solar photovoltaic system at FAST Cold Chain Hub Cebu located in Tayud, Consolacion.

The agreement was formalized through a contract signing attended by FAST Logistics Group executives led by Group President William B. Chiongbian II, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Atty. Arnold Q. Yangco, Assistant General Counsel Atty. Guia S. Ureta, Head of Warehousing and VAS Business Unit Aron Christian Javier, Head of Cold Chain Business Unit Marc Anthony Dizon, and Procurement Head Claire N. Cuestas.

Buskowitz Energy was represented by CEO and President James Carlos P. Buskowitz, Vice President for Sales and Business Development Henry Layug, Senior Vice President for Finance Marion Agarao, and General Counsel Atty. Karol Josef Gutierez.

FAST continues to explore renewable energy and more efficient solutions across its logistics network. As the first Filipino-owned logistics company to publicly commit to achieving Net Zero by 2050, FAST aims to reduce its reliance on conventional grid electricity and lower its carbon emissions.
