The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka. It is Contemporary Architecture designed by Kume Sekkei, with modern glass exterior. The interior, is heavily influenced by traditional local crafts, specifically the silk weaving of Hakata-ori textiles, which are featured in textiles, furniture, and decorative art to blend with contemporary style with traditional Fukuoka character.

The Santo Nino Parish Church was founded in 1170 by the Augustinian. Its namesake, the Santo Nino would be attributed to the end of the cholera epidemic in 1889. The church underwent restoration in December 2014 after severely damaged by Typhoon Haiyan (Supertyphoon Yolanda) in November 2013.
