The Philippine IT-BPM industry is changing, and so are the demands placed on the businesses and people behind it.

We were glad to support this year’s International IT-BPM Summit as a major sponsor, joining industry leaders in conversations around AI, workforce development, employee health, cybersecurity, healthcare transformation, and the opportunities for the industry to grow beyond its traditional centers.

These changes eventually find their way into the workplace. As BPOs expand and adapt, their offices need to keep pace too, supporting collaboration, technology, changing operational needs, and the people who keep businesses moving.

That was also part of the conversation when our CEO, Joe Bantiling, joined Pueblo de Panay’s panel on countryside development. He shared his view that Pueblo de Panay in Roxas City is a viable location for IT-BPM expansion, considering cost efficiency, talent availability, and a genuinely supportive LGU. 🇵🇭

As someone who grew up in Western Visayas, the region’s continued development is particularly meaningful to him, alongside its potential to create new opportunities for businesses and communities.

Is the office still worth the commute?

That was the question we explored at HIMAP’s Q3 General Membership Meeting, bringing together perspectives from workplace design, HR, leadership, facilities, and more.

For the health IT-BPM industry, the conversation carries particular weight. These are people and organizations dedicated to caring for the wellbeing of others so, how can their own workplaces better support the people behind that work?

For us at Trends And Concepts, it was a timely reminder that a quality workplace should do more than look good. It should give people the right environment to collaborate, connect, focus, and do their best work; from spaces that bring teams together to the systems and features that support them every day.

When workplace planning considers people, operations, and long-term needs together, the office can become more than somewhere employees are expected to be. It can become a space that genuinely supports them.
