CDB is a research-based Architectural Firm focused on delivering innovative, experiential, and computational designs, specific to our end-users. When we started selling our concepts, it came out as a long research narrative about the things we value, and how we want to be valued. One of the many principles that we hold true is that memories and experiences made in the spaces we create contributes

in a life’s journey, and it couldn’t get any special than that. We then started to compute every single detail in our design- may it be light, air, and/or sound to make sure we only deliver designs with value, designs that serves as a tool to improve one’s life and well-being, and designs that respect our differences in all sorts. We make it a point that our architecture doesn’t just tell a story, but also allows its users to create a new one. Everyday, we keep up to a long and tedious process of design filtering. For every project, we spend time analyzing the intangibles and develop our own ways of controlling them. In this big industry that has slowly turned to be a consumerist, we are honest to a fact that a “few” of the practices we have fully embraced in our process falls under being unappreciated or underrated, such are lighting computation, acoustical analysis, and energy survey, but we are certain this will develop. And yes, from time to time, we do check on the carbon footprint of our recommended materials, but that is just the macro side of it. We see to it that we don’t just use the words “sustainability” and “efficiency” to give our designs depth, we’d rather have it that the value we put in our designs adds impact and meaning to those words. This is what we mean by making sense.
