For our second project with McDonald’s, Flow Industries is providing the design-and-build delivery of a 15 CMD (cubic meters per day) wastewater treatment facility utilizing a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) process. The plant is engineered to treat daily sewage and kitchen wastewater loads through controlled, time-based treatment cycles fill, aeration/react, settling, and decant allowing efficient biological removal of organics and suspended solids in a compact footprint. The scope covers complete system engineering and construction, including civil works, mechanical and electrical installations, control and automation, and commissioning, with the objective of producing compliant effluent suitable for discharge in accordance with applicable regulatory standards. In the blower room, the system is equipped with two blowers to provide reliable aeration (with duty/standby flexibility as needed), along with the downstream polishing units multimedia filtration (MMF) and ultrafiltration (UF). After filtration, disinfection is completed through an in-line chlorination system to ensure effective pathogen control and maintain a disinfectant residual prior to discharge. All major equipment and treatment steps are integrated and centrally managed through a control panel, which regulates blower operation and coordinates the filtration and chlorination sequence to maintain stable performance, consistent effluent clarity, and safe, efficient plant operation.
