GENERAL PEST CONTROL PROCEDURE
CRAWLING INSECTS: Cockroach and Control
The objective is to eradicate existing crawling insects in defined infested areas by using the following techniques:
• Spraying – using knock down effect chemical water base chemical, the process would eliminate living cockroaches after a period contact with the chemicals. Strategic application areas such as cracks, crevices, d
oors, hinges and corners are ideal location for this type of application.
• Gel Baiting System/ Bait Laying – a procedure use to apply the specialized gel in strategic location within the infested areas. This is designed to eliminate the colony and to kill newly hatch cockroaches to prevent them from multiplying.
• Dusting – using insecticide powder, the process would eliminate the insects upon direct contact. Powdered areas shall be cleaned by living cockroaches and to avoid by insects in the future after the treatment. The process is in places and location the liquid chemicals may not be allowed or prohibited like electrical wirings and connections. Termites Control by Perimeter Drilling & Injection Treatment - Where it is not possible to treat trenches in the prescribed manner due to the presence of concrete aprons, verandas and paving, a perimeter drill and injection treatment is recommended. Drill and inject the prepared product mixture at 1m intervals around the entire outside perimeter of the building. Holes must be drilled from the outside through the walls at an angle, ensuring that the mixture is applied under the floor slab. At the site of infestation within the building, drill and treat 1 to 3 holes.
2. Trenching Method/Rodding – Trenching involves removing all soil from around the foundation of your home, so that every little termite gets blocked out. Well, except for the ones that are already inside! Trenching is often used with rodding. Rodding involves putting a long pesticide rod into the ground to create a barrier.
3. Wood Termites Treatment-Direct Wood Treatment works well for both subterranean termites as well as drywood termites.
