RLMJ's Two Weeks Journey (Aug 8-22, 2026)
Aug 22, Feast of the Queenship of Mama Mary. Capping one of the most tiring 2 weeks site inspections out of town and within NCR.
Started last Aug 8-9 to Ilagan City, Isabela for our community service initiative with the Guild of Liturgical Designers, helping rebuild a burned church. A cancelled flight that led us to take bus for 10 hours night trip from Ilagan to Pasay.
On Aug 11-12, by land 7 hours travel to Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya for proposed church, clergy retirement homes and cathedral improvement. Had the chance to vist 3 Cultural Treasures of the province. Another 6 hours back to Manila.
Aug 13 time for NCR church projects
Aug 14, Pangasinan Friday in San Fabian and San Carlos City for church finishing stage, proposed sanctuary improvement and residential project.
Aug 17, ocular visit in Limay, Bataan to site of proposed church. Three areas with half tire flood encounters in Lubao. Heavy traffic going home, 4 hours from Skyway3 entry to BGC! Total 7 hours Limay to Pateros!
Aug 18, Nueva Ecija Tuesday in Cabanatuan, Sta. Rosa and Gapan City. Finishing of Cathedral, renovation of school chapel and checked site of proposed outdoor stations of the cross
Aug 19-20 NCR project inspections
Finally, Aug 21-22 in Baguio City to inspect ongoing chapel extension and new facade. Thick fog with rain, zero visibilty along Marcos Highway going home.
Thank you Lord for our safe travels. Bless us Lord, give us strength and wisdom to finish these projects entrusted to us.
Thanks to the team especially our driver for handling the steering wheel safely, rain or shine.
Missed the desk for two weeks, hoping to find time to sitdown and do design chores. Tired but fulfilled.
