In 2021, we were presented with an opportunity that felt deeply personal: JPulangas Consultancy, was commissioned to design the school marker for Looc National High School. As an alumnus, this wasn't just another project; it was a chance to give back to the institution that helped shape me. I wanted to move beyond the typical, generic phrases like "I love LNHS" that are common at so many schools. I wanted to craft a statement that was both profound and enduring.
My thoughts kept returning to the idea of legacy. What is the true legacy of a school? It's not just the building or the name, but the people it produces. With that in mind, the statement "I AM LNHS" was born. It’s a call for every student, every graduate, and every teacher to understand that they don't just love the school—they are the school. They are its living embodiment, carrying its values and lessons into the world. It’s a statement that challenges every alumnus to embody the true virtue of Looc National High School, wherever life takes them.
