A practical bungalow residence with a dedicated garage, landscaped frontage, and a warm contemporary interior designed around comfort, functionality, and easy everyday living. Natural wood finishes, neutral tones, clean architectural lines, and layered lighting give the home a modern look without making it overly extravagant.

Estimated construction cost: ₱2.5M–₱3.5M
Based on roughly ₱25,000–₱35,000/sq.m. for a contemporary mid range residence. Current Philippine contractor guides place standard/mid range residential construction around this range, although actual pricing varies by location, structural system, specifications, and contractor.

Would you live in a 20-ft container home like this?

A compact 20-ft container home concept transformed into a functional and stylish living space with a cozy interior, landscaped front garden, dedicated carport, and a roof deck for outdoor lounging and entertaining.

The design combines industrial container architecture, warm wood finishes, black metal accents, large glazed openings, and tropical landscaping to make a small footprint feel more comfortable and inviting.

KAUST Tensile Membrane Structure | Saudi Arabia

A throwback to one of our tensile membrane structure projects inside King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), designed to provide a large span architectural canopy over the swimming pool area.

The structural design was approved in 2019, while construction was later pushed to 2023. The project, including the swimming pool facility, was completed in 2024.

The system utilizes a tensile membrane supported by steel masts, perimeter framing, and tension cables, creating a lightweight long span structure while maintaining an open and visually striking pool environment.

A look back at one of my structural design projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, way back in 2019.

This large scale tensile structure, located near the Hajj Terminal, involved the structural modeling and design of the supporting steel framework, tensioned membrane system, masts, and cable-supported components.

Projects like this are a reminder that behind every lightweight and elegant tensile form is a carefully engineered structural system designed to resist complex loading conditions.

Proposed Five Storey Steel Structure | Cebu City

A five storey structural steel building designed with an irregular framing configuration, featuring steel columns and beams, cantilevered sections, and strategically positioned cross-bracing to form the primary structural and lateral force resisting system.

The structural framing is modeled in ETABS to evaluate the building’s response to gravity, wind, and seismic demands.

This concept demonstrates how structural engineering transforms an architectural form into a stable, efficient, and constructible structural system.

Project Location: Cebu City, Philippines
Structural System: Steel Framing with Cross-Bracing
Structural Analysis & Design: ETABS

A practical steel portal-frame warehouse designed specifically for heavy-duty truck operations, providing wide, unobstructed access for efficient vehicle entry, exit, parking, and maneuvering.

The concept features a large clear-span covered area, high roof clearance, open frontage, strategically positioned perimeter columns, and structural bracing located away from the primary truck circulation zones. The steel framing provides an efficient and economical structural system while the open-sided configuration promotes natural ventilation and operational flexibility.

Ideal for truck terminals, logistics facilities, fleet parking, equipment storage, loading areas, and industrial yards.

The building required structural strengthening due to identified deficiencies in the affected concrete members. To address the issue and improve structural performance, a retrofitting solution was implemented using CFRP GSM 500, providing added strength, durability, and reliability to the structure.

We do not only design, we also help provide practical engineering solutions for existing structural problems.
