Nipa Hut Reimagined.
โKyuboโ represents a synthesis of the modern cube and the traditional kubo a spatial concept that reinterprets Filipino vernacular architecture through a regenerative, future-oriented lens.
Conceived as a community-embedded intervention, it is designed to support local fishermen by integrating livelihood functions within the built environment. The architecture responds sensitively to its social and ecological context, operating as a catalyst for economic activity while reinforcing existing community networks.
Grounded in culture, heritage, and place, Kyubo transcends its role as a singular structure, positioning itself as a regenerative system one that sustains identity, enables resilience, and cultivates a meaningful relationship between people, environment, and livelihood.
