Our engineering firm was retained to execute a rigorous structural health investigation and safety audit of an operational two-storey existing building.
The engineering objective was to definitively evaluate the structural baseline of the multi-level framing system, map subsurface reinforcement geometry, and deliver data-driven engineering insights.
This assessment guarantees long-term operational safety, verifies code compliance, and evaluates the facility’s capacity to sustain modern vertical live loads and dynamic industrial workflows.
🛠️ Core Engineering Services Rendered
• In-Situ Concrete Strength Calibration: Performed extensive non-destructive Rebound Hammer Testing across critical multi-level elements—including ground-tier columns, elevated framing beams, and suspended intermediate slabs—to accurately map compressive strength variations.
• Subsurface Reinforcement Profiling: Deployed high-resolution electromagnetic rebar scanning equipment to non-destructively map concrete cover depth, track rebar spatial distribution, and verify reinforcement configurations at highly stressed beam-column joints.
• Multi-Level Structural Analytics: Conducted a comprehensive structural engineering analysis, evaluating the building's gravity and lateral load-resisting systems against the stringent criteria of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP).
